  1. Does the jeweler actually listen to you? When purchasing jewelry, you’ll want to work with someone you will cater to your desires and not just try to sell you a piece you don’t really want. At Kloiber Jewelers, we know just how special jewelry can be, so we’ll work with you to create a piece you’ll treasure for years to come.
  2. Can the jeweler make custom-designed jewelry? Custom design allows you to create a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece that no one else will have. Similarly, you can custom design a new jewelry piece using the metal and gemstones from an out-dated heirloom. Kloiber Jewelers will work with you to create a custom-designed jewelry piece.
  3. How knowledgeable is the jeweler? Obviously, you’ll want to work with a jeweler who knows what he or she is talking about. Experienced jewelers will be able to seamlessly guide you throughout the entire jewelry selection process and may bring up items of discussion you may not have initially thought of. With over 35 years of experience in the jewelry industry, owner Karin Volz will be able to offer her expertise to make sure you end up with the perfect jewelry piece.
  4. How skilled is the jeweler? Not only do you want your jeweler to be knowledgeable, but you also want him/her to be skilled at creating and designing jewelry. Ask to see examples of previous projects so you can determine for yourself whether or not this jeweler is able to create well-made, beautiful jewelry pieces. Kloiber Jewelers uses a team of experienced, talented goldsmiths to ensure all of our projects are completed to the highest of standards.
  5. How long has the jewelry store been in business? There’s usually a good reason why some jewelry stores last longer than others. These long-standing jewelers typically have more resources at their disposal and have already established a sense of trust within the community. Kloiber Jewelers has been in business for 91 years.
  6. If the jewelry store doesn’t have exactly what you want, will the jeweler go the extra mile and spend time searching for the right item? Because of limited retail space, chances are you’re not always going to find exactly what you’re looking for every time you visit a jewelry store. Good jewelers will utilize their resources to provide you with more options. If we don’t have what you’re looking for in-stock, we’ll search all of our resources until we find your perfect jewelry piece.
  7. Do they provide you with free estimates for custom orders and repairs? There’s nothing worse than picking up your custom-ordered jewelry piece or repair and finding out that it ended up costing a lot more than you anticipated. Courtesy estimates are always provided at Kloiber Jewelers.
  8. What are their return policies? Do they give you all of your money back if you gift an item and it’s not exactly what she wanted? Some jewelers make you exchange the item for another in-stock piece, while others charge you a re-stocking fee.  If you purchase an in-stock item at Kloiber Jewelers, you have 30 days to return the item and receive all of your money back.
  9. Does the jeweler offer any after-sales services? Fine jewelry should be checked by a professional jeweler every couple of years. You never know when you may need your ring re-sized, your prongs re-tipped, your necklace chain adjusted, or your appraisal updated. Kloiber Jewelers offers a variety of services including courtesy jewelry cleaning, jewelry repairs, watch repairs, and appraisals.
